Ricardo Teamor

Ricardo (Ric) Teamor has been lead Paralegal for Martin & Bontrager, APC since 2016 and has been employed in the legal profession for nearly fifteen (15) years. Prior to M&B, Ric spent approximately six (6) years working for a national consumer protection law firm working his way up from entry level clerk to becoming lead Paralegal. During his time in the legal profession, Ric has conducted tens of thousands of initial client consultations for intake, prepared complaints for attorney review, performed other various legal pleadings for attorney review, secured service of summons and complaint in thousands of consumer law claims, performed various data entry tasks, prepared written discovery requests for attorney review, prepared written responses to discovery for client and attorney review, and provided customer service and communications to clients in all facets required by clients and his supervising attorneys. Ric is extremely well versed in consumer cases pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (RFDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Electronic Funds Transfer Act (EFTA), Fair Credit Billing Act (FCBA), California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA), and the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), to name a few.
